Coventry Centennial Celebration

In a festive birthday celebration on March 28, the Golf Capital Chorus serenaded 7 residents that ranged in age from a “youth” of 98 to a “centenarian” at 102.  The chorus can be seen singing to John Rumery (98), Tom David (99), Fannie     Henrick (99), Signe Hibberd (99), Ameila Deszyck (100) and Edward Turski (102).   The chorus was honored to be invited and the residents and guests enjoyed the varied musical selections.   Director of Activities, Meghan Porter, was especially appreciative of those who made the celebration possible: Mike Bailey, Maggie Farms, Christy’s Flower Stall, Harris Teeter and Cakes by Kelli.  Singing for life care homes is a community service activity of the Chorus.  Gentlemen wishing to join us should call our Membership Chair, John Arnold at 295-7496
